Interesting article from the LA Times here. Some of their conclusions:
1. Younger doctors perform more abortions (<35 yrs old). Is this because fewer in that age group claim Christ as other studies show?
2. Fewer Ob-gyn in the south perform them than the average. Is this because the Bible Belt actually sees more Biblical influence?
3. More women perform them than men (almost 2x as many). Is this because of feminism? Consider these quotes by Mother Teresa:
“America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father’s role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts — a child — as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters”
“What is taking place in America is a war against the child. And if we accept that the mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another.”
“It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.”
“Any country that accepts abortion, is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what it wants.”
I continue to be amazed at the satanic response I get from pro-death (oops, I meant pro-choice) advocates on this topic. It is not rational. It is driven by emotions of the highest order–those of religion. In this case, a religion of death fueled by selfishness and a wreckless disregard for the law of God. May God bring us all to repentance and may the murders stop. The blood on the ground cries out to God… Genesis 9:6
