The Foundation for Economic Education is holding two high school seminars this summer in Estes Park. Though the formal deadline for applications was yesterday, they still have a handful of openings and have extended the deadline for applications until April 10. There is no charge for the seminars, and they provide room and board at the site, which is at the YMCA camp near Estes Park. Their seminars are designed to provide basic instruction in the economics of the free society, including the personal character virtues that are indispensable for a free society to exist. So, their speakers talk about such things as limited government, free markets, rule of law, private property, and personal responsibility.
