This movie was the overwhelming winner of the audience choice award and came in second place overall at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival this year. This is one of those family movies where you can relax as your children watch it, though very young children or tenderhearted ones might still have some tense moments as the action unfolds. Loosely based upon the biblical cities of refuge (Numbers 35), the story unfolds with an all-child (ages 2-9) cast full of adventure and humor. A Christian tone closes out the movie and for a first movie attempt by a homeschool family, the production quality is surprisingly high. We should be getting these into our bookstore very soon.
I cannot overstate how wonderful this movie is. This has rapidly become our favorite family movie–I could watch it again and again. Well done, Steege family!
