Day at the Capitol: Display Contest

Winners of the 2013 Display Table Contest

Day at the Capitol Display Contest

$100 Cash Prize!

All Colorado students, families, and support groups are invited to participate in CHEC’s Day at the Capitol event. To kick-off the week, students/families/support groups have the opportunity to set up and decorate a table which features their school work and projects in the Capitol Rotunda. These tables will remain on display throughout the week and will be judged by the DAC committee. The winner will earn $100 and be honored at the DAC rally.

If getting around downtown Denver seems like an intimidating task, don’t let it stop you from signing up! Our coordinator will follow up with a call to confirm your registration and give directions on parking, where to go in the Capitol, and food & bathroom facilities at the Capitol.

Additionally, Russ Carter of BC (Biblically Correct) Tours will be offering group tours of the Capitol on April 7th for groups who come set up their display table. This would be a great field trip for your group. You might consider scheduling meetings with your state representative or senator on this date as well. Look for more details and registration to begin on our website in early February. Contact with your questions.
