Dr. Voddie Baucham Jr.
Voddie Baucham is a husband, father, pastor, author, professor, conference speaker and church planter. He is a devoted homeschooling father of four who views education as an essential aspect of discipleship. Voddie makes the Bible clear and demonstrates the relevance of God's Word to everyday life. However, he does so without compromising the centrality of Christ and the Gospel. You will find his love for the Lord, his passion for home education and his vision for the Biblical family exhilarating and challenging.

Kevin Swanson
Former Executive Director of Christian Home Educators of Colorado, Director of Generations with Vision, and homeschooling father of five, Kevin Swanson is one of the most dynamic and impactful speakers in the modern homeschooling movement. With his passion to strengthen and encourage the worldwide homeschooling movement and to cast a vision for generations to come, Kevin’s messages will both encourage and inspire listeners.

Mike Chapa
As of September, 2009, Mike is the new Executive Director of CHEC. His education includes bachelors and masters degrees in Aerospace Engineering and he is a graduate of the USAF Academy class of 1989. Mike retired in 2009 from the USAF after serving more than 20 years as a fighter pilot and test pilot. His last assignment was teaching at the USAF Academy and flying cadets in general aviation aircraft. Mike serves as an elder in his church and he and his wife Tonya have homeschooled their six children since 1997.

Hal & Melanie Young
Hal and Melanie Young have been involved with homeschooling from coast to coast. They have eight children from 19 and younger and have homeschooled them from the beginning. Hal and Melanie are frequent speakers at homeschooling conferences across the country. The Youngs live in North Carolina, learn everywhere, and believe true riches don't involve money.

Shirley Solis
A dynamic and encouraging speaker, Shirley has touched the hearts of many around the country. With her delightful, upbeat personality and her convicting message, she shares her life experiences while inspiring and encouraging the body of Christ to fulfill their God-given purpose. She and her husband Gus have five children and travel the country for six months each year with their family business, Lifetime Books and Gifts.

Michael P. Donnelly, Esq.
Mike serves as the HSLDA director of international relations, and now serves as the HSLDA representative for Colorado. He oversees the support of persecuted homeschoolers, in the Federal Republic of Germany and coordinates the work to encourage greater freedom for homeschoolers all over the world. Mike is also an adjunct professor of government at Patrick Henry College and is a frequent speaker and writer on the subject of homeschooling. He and his wife Patty homeschool their six children and reside in West Virginia.

Mike Winther
Mike Winther is the president of the Institute for Principle Studies, a Christian "think tank" dedicated to researching and teaching foundational principles of government, economics and history. A frequent speaker at conferences and conventions, Mike and his wife Mary are parents of three homeschooled children. Together they coach the Modesto Debate Club, which trains high school students in logic, research, public speaking and Christian world-view.

Chuck Black
Chuck Black is the author of the hugely popular Kingdom Series - a collection of Biblical allegories written to inspire children to read the Bible with renewed zeal. Chuck is a former F-16 fighter pilot, serving eight years in the United States Air Force and has a degree in electrical and electronic engineering. Chuck and his wife have six children. It is Chuck's desire to serve the Lord through this work and to inspire people of all ages to study the Scriptures in order to discover the hope and love of a truly majestic King and His Son.

Shelley Noonan
Author and speaker Shelley Noonan's passion is to assist parents in recapturing the lost art of mentoring. With thirteen years of homeschooling her three children and fifteen years of serving the homeschooling community, Shelley brings a wide variety of experiences to encourage, motivate, and challenge the conference attendee. Shelley had written three books that spring from her own experiences as both a daughter and a mother and are an effective too to develop godly daughters and lasting relationships.

James D. Nickel
James Nickel, B.A. (Mathematics), B.Th.,B.Miss.,M.A. (Education) taught high school mathematics in the late 1970s in Hawaii and in the 1980's in Australia. He currently teaches mathematics courses via web conferencing for The Potters School. James is the author of Mathematics: Is God Silent? (Ross House Books, 2001), and is currently writing three worldview-based math textbooks, The Wonders of Arithmetic I and II (Grades 6 and 7) and Mathematics: The Language of Science (advanced algebra, geometry, and trigonometry). |
